Worth joining the 'friendly' club for

Although we're not big fans of either club's sites, we have stayed, twice, for two weeks at the C&CC site at Stoke Fleming (Dartmouth) during the last two years and the toilet block there is every bit as good as on this club's sites, if not better. If I'm being picky, the one criticism of that C&CC site is that they're a bit stingy with the amount of water and disposal points as compared with CC Club sites.

We are in both but we use the caravan a lot so can justify it. This club has a number of sites we use to visit family with no C&CC one near and we use a club storage facility so we need to stay with them. The C&CC though gives a few alternatives and their insurance is far cheaper so we use them as well.
If you are not using a caravan or motorhome regularly then one club should do but if you need specific sites then you may need to join both.
The services are generally near identical so I would not worry about them.

We're members of both but were actually CCC first as that was what we belonged to many, many moons ago and most people go with what they know. My son suggested CAMC when we wanted to go to Chelsea Flower Show the first time as he knew of Abbeywood. He was right, great site.
We use both as to what suits. CAMC is certainly more regimented but in some areas has nicer sites. CCC is often slightly haphazard but generally more fun when the grandkids are with us. I reckon it's a case of to each their own and we've never been frogmarched-we have been shown and if we don't like it have always asked for a change, not been refused up to yet.

why do 'we' need to be convinced? (which btw I don't think BB is doing)
Can 'we' not weight up the pros an cons of having HS and EHU ourselves and make the decision based on what we want?
