I agree that you can wrap up against the cold. However, there's no way of keeping cool when it's too hot. When the temperature gets past 25 celsius, it's still too hot even in a T shirt! Well I suppose 25 to 28 is bearable as long as it's not too humid but anything over 30 is uncomfortable.

There are plenty of channels on the tv to choose from, so it's usually possible to find something of interest. Otherwise, like you say, talk, read or listen to music or simply watch what's going on outside the window. Apart from people, there's wildlife, birds, squirrels, foxes are the most common, less common are badgers.

Walked along the coastal path from Bempton towards Flamborough yesterday, stopping along route to watch the Gannets and puffins, and admire the views. Lunch at Flamborough, before heading back. Good to read everyone had safe trips back. smile

We've got up to fair weather here in Worthing. It's comfortably cool and we've got bacon and eggs cooking for breakfast.

I'll be doing activities when I go to work this evening, taffyY. My job is physically active. When I'm not delivering pizzas, I'm working in the kitchen doing various other tasks and on my feet most of the time. This evening, I'll be doing four hours of non-stop work of one kind or another.

Anyhow, as the weather is so comfortable today, we plan to walk from the site up Highdown Hill this morning. That should be a fair amount of exercise as we'll probably spend over an hour walking around.

I noticed the flag NTH. I think there was a small site there, even when the colliery was in production. Probably a lot more popular now. It's only a few miles through the back roads to Hardwick Hall and not bad to get to from junc 28 of the M1. These days I don't think I could manage that slope before breakfast.😂It's the steepest side up from the site.

All of the Pizza Hut delivery drivers work in the kitchens whilst waiting for orders to come in. There are various jobs like making up the boxes, sweeping floors, cleaning, pot wash etc.

Anyway we're now back from our walk up Highdown Hill. Too hot to stay outside any longer so back in the caravan with the aircon going.

We are just home feom a lovely 3 night stay at Moffat C&CC site. We were down there for the classic Car Show we go ti it every year. It was nice to meet up with somw old friends who also go to the show. Had an uneventful 1 and half hour drive home today. Weather here is cloudy but quite hot. Think we are going to head off for a couple of nights at the weekend not sure where yet though possibly up Loch Lomond way.

Malcolm quick question, as you are employed by Pizza hut do they insure your car for business purposes whilst you are working or do you have to do that ?.

Nice sunny day walked along the beach to Filey Brigg this morning then had lunch back at the van today. Put the Puffin photos up on the telly,  some pretty good ones. Will have to wait until we get home to transfer them off the camera. Just making use of some free WiFi in the pub after a walk from Sewerby to Brid. ☺

Yes they do have their own insurance but it only covers myself which is why they don't allow my wife to help with the deliveries.

We drove past Loch Lomond when on holiday in Scotland towing the caravan along the side of it. It's a  huge lake but magnificent scenery and the road quite narrow in parts but we were glad we chose that route. It was worth it for the views over the loch.

We live only an hour from Loch Lomond so go there regularly for weekend trips. There are a couple of sites we use up that way.
