    Correct Snowy 1. It still baffles me though, it all seems so wrong to my natural compass, that sun setting on an east coast town out at sea! Oh, well, the proof is in the photo.

    Yes, I understand what your saying, in theory, within the Northern Hemisphere, the Sun rises in the East and sets in the West so I'm told. The only reason I've got the answer correct is that I'm originally from North Yorkshire (Ripon) myself, well to be honest, when I was born Ripon was in the West Riding!, that was a long time ago i.e. back in the days when men were men and women were glad of them. smile
