Looking to stop for a few nights in Aachen, Germany at site, Platz für Camping.

Their website says Aachen is a Low-Emission Zone and a Green Sticker is required.

Any help?

Yes, your info is correct.  If you Google it, you will find a list of places where you can buy one. You will need to take your registration doc to show that it's Euro 4 or better.  I think it's only 5 or 6 Euro. You can also buy one on-line.

It will tell you how to get a Plakette cheaply

First time I went to Germany by car I bought one for Essen, since then haven't bothered and never been stopped. Hadn't crossed my mind to get one for this year either.

If it's the same car it's valid for the life of that car.

Which part of the registration documents gives the required information.

The car is a 2014 Nissan Qashqai 4*4 1.6 DCI

The required info is on the main page of the V5 (the section that gives weights etc). I used a digital camera to photograph the page and this was accepted without any question at all (I used the Berlin office mentioned in my earlier post above and "attached"
    the photo to the application)

This thread was originally posted about a year ago. Since then many of the original links are no longer valid because of the change of forum around December last year. Even Hazel has left the Club!!! Might I suggest you refer to this thread where all the information you require is available.

Once you have your sticker it covers the whole of Germany and is valid for the life of the car, so keep it safe for the next trip.
