hi everyone

 

finally made it to Italy on our first overseas tour in our van. Currently enjoying la riva In sorico which is paradise so thank you to those that recommended. Journey was fine except for the horrendous route down from porlezza to menaggio which was a series of zig zag bends very tight on space. What goes down must go up! We have to move to maggiore and I was wondering if it would be easier to drive down the eastern side to Lecco on to como and then go a2 from somewhere round chiasso around top via Locarno and to cannobio? Any advice please?

    No sorry I can't see the other replies from my previous post but I'm trying to view on a phone but not very user friendly. Thank you  Vald for the link. Looks like same route out down west side but thank you for your advice
