Anybody on the Island at the moment ? We are planning on heading that way later this week and just wondering how busy the sites are, do we need to think about booking ?

    We're not there now but really enjoyed our stay last year at Camping le Cormoran near Ars-en-Ré. A nice tranquil site with helpful staff within walking distance of Ars-en-Ré. We'll definitely go there again.

    We are on the La Grainetiere site, which is ACSI. We arrived yesterday about 12:30 and the site was full, we were booked in. The pitch next to us emptied this am and was occupied again by 10 am, and the site is full again

    Cannot speak for other sites, but turn up here and you may have to wait a day or so for a pitch, but the weather is lovely

    Not going until September, by then we should have our pick of siteswink hope all who go have a wonderful time it's  a lovely place to be.

     

    AD, we are currently in Epinal temp 32c cool, by the way Filmon seems to back to 'free' viewing again, noticed it last night. Apologies to OP for going off thread.

    Thanks for all the advice. Currently in the Venise Vert where it is roasting, 35 yesterday 33 today. Hopefully will be a bit cooler on the coast when we eventually get there.

    We were heading there but due to the weather being so good in Brittany we'r in Quiberon very quiet and 26c but a bit windy might see later if the weather changes 😎
