Hi everyone.

Has anyone been on the M5 between Junction one and junction two since they started the road works on the stilts section in the West Midlands, we are going down there on Friday,  we can either sit it out or use the Black Country route to miss it.

    I have not but when I go from Wythall to Chester in August I am using the toll road. Much against my principles because I believe the motorways should be free to all

    This will be too late for the OP but the M5 area mentioned is slow. The M6 north of Stafford was even worse due to the ongoing "smart" motorway installations. Allow an extra hour or two on travel times. frown
