Netherlands
We are thinking of visiting the Netherlands. We have a 6m van conversion like sites near transport or where we are able to use our bikes. We want to see Delf and Amsterdam and would like suggestions of sites near there and other places to visit. We expect to be away up to 2 weeks in September.

Delft Hout is the favourite for Delft itself about a fifteen minute walk from the centre of Delft with many cycle routes nearby. Around forty minute drive from hook of Holland. Site is located near a large park and lake, turn right at the entrance on your bike and you are on cycle paths through the countryside, turn left and you are in delft with a choice of canals to cycle along. Site is level with reasonable size pitches, small restaurant but plenty to choose from in Delft. Public Transport options are trains/trams to Rotterdam, The Hague, Schevingen and Amsterdam. etc
Can`t help with Amsterdam did`nt take to it on our one and only visit.

Agree about Delft above. We stayed at this site near Amsterdam. There are buses and trams within walking distance of the site into the City. If we were going again I think I would consider Gaasper Camping which might be a bit nearer to the centre.

We also stayed at DelftseHout site & walked into Delft. Pre-booked this as we were straight of the ferry 2 or 3 years ago now I think. We went end of April to beginning of May in order to cycle through/see the fields full of colourful bulbs & visit Keukenhof Gardens. At that time of year we found sites using the ACSI book/card without having to book ahead probably because we were away from the main tourist areas. Maybe booking would be advisable If you need specific dates & sites. We travelled north & circled back to the ferry staying on the coast or near small towns. Good cycling wherever we were. Amsterdam though was not somewhere we visited.
