It worked for me.....I was under the impression that the app was free with a 'Combi membership'.

I logged my number and it asked for extra payment for the app.

I did email but they are notorious at not responding.

I created a ACSI identity and then purchased the card / book and the app whilst logged in to that. As soon as the purchase had gone through I was able to use the app by just logging on with my identity. The book and the card took weeks to arrive though, so I was glad I had access to the app for planning.

I've been using Acsi for 6 years and never had a problem with registering the card. If you use it in the low season, you will find the rates are half that in the Club brochure. I just spent 14 nights on Castel sites using acsi total cost 160 euros.

What is "registering the card" please?  I bought the ACSI book, took the card out and went to one or two of their campsites.  The card wasn't registered and the campsites  didn't ask me whether it was. It seemed pretty simple to me.

We don't register ours either, but you have to do so in order to get access to the App.  As we don't use the App we don't need to register the card.  We're still 'Luddites' and prefer to look in a book for sites rather than squint, through our 'getting older' eyes, at the screen of a mobile phone.

We too are luddiites regarding this.  Never registered my card.  As I don't have one of those Smart phone thingies and not normally too bothered to log on with my tablet don't really see a need to use the App - now I do know what an App isundecided.

So do I!!  But I too consider ourselves luddites.  Much prefer to look through the guide with a paper map when we're away, I think you get a better overview with a map of where sites are, but that's probably old-fashioned too wink

I didn't know what registering the ACSI card was about either, so I've learnt something today!
