Looking at the route to this Caravan Club booked site it shows a "Discotheque Le Cabonon" in the next bay . Does anyone know if this is a live music disco thing and if so does it cause night noise on the campsite. Had a similar issue in Croatia which kept us awake all night trying to avoid this one.

Staying on the site early July before the school holidays

Not tried that site, I'm afraid.

We are thinking about Camping Des Chevrets (to the east of St Malo) for this year. That looks pretty quiet, if you are worried about your choice.

There are two very pleasant. clean, well run, mid range sites at Matignon (Le Vallon aux Merlettes) and Pleboulle (Le Freche a l'Ane) - both about 20 miles west of St Malo.

I can assure you all that there will be no discos and no other British visitors at either of them. Neither are the sort of site where this Club would do advance bookings, so just speak to the private owners - they are very civilised. Reviews in the usual places on line via Google.

I assume this is the same site if so it gets mainly positive reviews except for one where the problem seemed to be about access. A quick look through did not seem to indicate a noise problem.
