Purchase of Camping Gaz
As a move towards reducing the caravan nose weight I am in the process of switching to 907 Camping Gaz bottles rather that the larger Calor.
The outlets selling Camping Gaz seem to have reduced somewhat, certainly in the north Cheshire area.
Anyone any suggestions?

i thought campingaz was widely available all over europe, however, ots the most expensive way of buying gas by miles.

I hardly use any gas tbh. My Gaz cylinder is for the Cadac primarily but I may simply drop down a Calor size for the van supply or for both! Thanks for the comments.

A cheaper way to reduce the noseweight with many caravans is to empty the water heater before leaving site (-10kg). We do it every time for that exact reason.

Already clocked the water heater, thanks. Quite funny, today I dropped in at a garden centre advertising Camping Gaz to be told that they sell the barbies etc but not the gas!
Go Outdoors do stock Gaz so I have plumped for a 907 for the Barbie and will drop to a 4.5 Kg for general use. We hardly use that gas for much really, taking advantage of the mains electricity which we pay for anyway!
I have saved 5kg of nose weight so it is a small step but worth it.
