The rules don't apply to them

I do accept that on large sites early arrival might help the wardens keep the queues down through the day so do not object. Camping in the Forrest do charge for early arrivals though and I would do this on club sites although half a days fees looks too high. Possibly £5 or 10 would be enough but you would then get queues just before noon with people wanting to avoid the extra cost so you cannot win either way.
Late stays are covered in the rules so provided there is room for them they are in order.

Who was the happy camper who arrived at the Buxton site last Friday at 11.20am ........I guess he thought he would get a flyer & be on site early doors.
He was still there at the barrier come 12.00 noon , I guess the wardens aren't available all the time & have other more important things to do before 12.00 noon for the customers already on site .👍

I don't think any of the wardens at Buxton wear headgear of any description & yes they do have other things to do ........regardless of what the special members of this club think.
Long may it continue , just because somebody arrives early won't mean they get access when they think they should........ that's tough & that's life & that's the way I think the wardens on every site should act.
Ive seen people turned away at many site over the years ......its what should happen , some members attitudes need to change & yes its part of the wardens job no matter what anyone else thinks ........😜

I suppose the thought is that, if you let them in at 11:30am then next time they'll arrive at 11am and pretty soon they would have a queue outside the gate when they started at 9am. You have to draw a line somewhere.
Same with late departers. Give them an inch......

I wouldn't try and get on that site before noon as it is next door to a country park so would park in there and go walk my dogs first it's something I do a lot ,go to a country park and have a walk first till I'm allowed on site I know some of you can't as you all have bigger vehicles than me !!

They recognise & log number plates JV, I think you're getting them mixed up with 'speed detection' ANPR is used widely around the UK now.
