Yup, got mine today as well. Could I jut clarify what I think Google translate is saying on the instructions?

When describing the area of the windscreen to place it, the instructions use the word (after translation into English) 'delimited'. I think this means 'within' in plain English. On looking at French-captioned illustrations, it seems this means one should fix the sticky mount within the 'dotted' area of the windscreen immediately behind the rear view mirror. The tag itself then hangs slightly lower than the mount.

i just want to be sure I am not responsible for a traffic jam at a peage!

That's how I also understand it. I think it should be at the lower edge of the 'dots'.

You can, as others have suggested, get your co-pilot to hold it out of the door window, (but don't drop it !!!!).

If you want instructions in English may I suggest you look at https://www.saneftolling.co.uk/

Perhaps worth mentioning that any motorhomers will have to experiment with the position of the TAG especially if they have a cab overhang. I place mine at the bottom of the windscreen (roughly the same level as it would be in a car).

Now received mine as well so the Sanef one will be winging its way back to retrieve the deposit.

Can I just check that as the tag is showing "Actif" that it is ready for use?

Many thanks for the original suggestion and useful hints & tips.

I queried with ATMB as to whether the tag is already Active. They replied saying that when received it is active and nothing needs to be done.

As mentioned, I received my tag on the 17th and it is showing as Active.

However, the €3 charge is not showing on my credit card statement (TBH I can't remember whether I used the Clarity or Zero card but it's on neither). Have others noticed a delay like this?

I can't actually see how to check which card I've used on the ATMB website.

Ian, it took some time for mine to show up on my statement. It does, unfortunately, eventually arrive frown

Thanks John. I must say I rarely worry when transactions don't turn up, I just wanted to be sure the tag would work when required!
