Amending a booking

We initially booked a site in July. Received a confirmation email, no problem there. We then decided that we could stay a day longer so I amended the booking by one day. On my profile it shows the amended booking but I have not received a confirming email which I thought that I would. Can I accept that the booking is confirmed without an email ? I always print of the email to take to the site as proof of booking whether I need to or not.

Same thing, I have had to amend an upcoming tour. This involved cancelling one site, booking another and amending the dates on another couple.

I had E-mail confirmations for the cancellation and new booking but nothing for the amendments.

However the amendments showed up in 'My bookings' so I know they have been recorded.

apart from my bookings being on my profile I save them in a folder which I call adventures , I put all my emails in there just looked to see if I had an amendment one and noticed I had one in Dec 2016 for a booking I have for Xmas this year so perhaps the club no longer email you about an amendment

If the booking is correct in your profile you need not worry.  The email confirmation is just a copy of that booking detail anyway.  I never look at the email confirmations or print them out, a waste of paper and ink.  I do however check the bookings are correct within my profile area.  Never had a problem yet.

Flying Fox - Like you, I usually print off the booking form for my folder. If your amendment is showing on your profile then the system has accepted it but, for peace of mind, you could give the site in question a call to double check.

I'm not sure what problem you may have had in posting this thread but I've removed the other seven with the same title.
