Anyone recently purchased RP?  How long did your Camping Key card take to arrive?

Hmm, just over a week now since we purchased on line. Perhaps I should ring the Club.

Our documents came in about 2 days and the Camping key card about 3 days after. Certainly less than a week.

More to the point, has anyone ever found it to be useful / of benefit ?

Only card I have found anyone interested in is the standard ACSI discount card.

On ACSI sites I have often found the same. However we use quite a few non ACSI sites like municipals and they often like it for ID purposes even if it's just to spell your name right.

The policy document and other paperwork was e mailed to us on 28th March, and it was said the card would come within 10 days, so that is still 2 days to go. In previous years it came more quickly, looks like I need to be more patient!

    Will wait till Friday.

Well, decided to try live chat, which was very good.  Apparently the card is sent out by a 3rd party the day after the policy is set up ( so 29/03 in our case) by second class post.

Obviously it should have arrived by now, so a replacement is being dispatched tomorrow.

Mine took 4 days to arrive after confirming RP policy.

Well, this is disappointing, how long does it take for a second class letter to arrive in Glasgow from somewhere presumably not particularly remote?

The first card has now taken 2 weeks to not arrive, and the second  card, posted on Friday has not appeared yet either.  If it does not come tomorrow then we will not be able to have it with us as we leave here on Wednesday.

Only thing to do in that case is to ask our daughter to send it to one of our sites.

    Never had a problem before.

Nothing has come today either, pigeon must have run out of steam!

DD will need to send it on to us if it ever does arrive.
