Hi all I'm new to the motor home life and was wondering if anyone can give me advice on who to insure my motor home with I live in Manchester any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Michelle welcome and  I reported your post so perhaps it will be moved to where Motorhomers can read it.  The Club do insurance although I insure my van with the other club.  Pays to shop around and bargain - especially when renewing next year - I had to query my renewal quote - and pointed out to them that the van wasn't worth as much as last year - got me quite a reduction! 

    There is a section on Solo travellers - if you are one - I am - but its a bit quiet at this time of year!

    Welcome Michelle,  there are specialists who will offer Motorhome insurance, and 'google' will  probably give you an answer, but there are many motorhome owners who will be only too willing to help if they see your post.  As Pippah says, it may be better to move it somewhere more appropriate.

    Best shop around, what is good for one is not necessarily good for you because of the variables. Off the top of my head here are a few companies who provide cover.

    Saga

    Safeguard

    Comfort

    NFU

    CMC

    C&CC

    We have been insured with Comfort ever since we changed to a motorhome a few years ago.  Always been competitive on price and a very friendly service. Never had to make a claim so unable to comment on that aspect.  They have won a number of awards for their insurance.

    Lifesure are a good broker. We insured the MH through them for many years.
