Hi, we bought our motorhome last October but due to family commitments have only just got around to thinking about taking it away. It's only a small two berth van but we are very excited about going away in it. And very apprehensive too. We're doing a test run next weekend, to Yorkshire, just for one night. Any tips for first timers, please?

Welcome to the wonderful world of C&MC, CT & Motorhoming
Just don't go far from home first time out-- if you forget something its so easy to pop back for it !
Remember tho' most of the tack you need is available in your home, excepting things like leveling blocks ( Sections of Scaffold board or similar for a start ) + the E H U Mains lead of course.
As you get more experienced you will join the majority of us older hands with a garage / shed / spare room absolutely full of those wonderful things that "WE cannot do without", take with us once or twice then dump !!
Have much fun in your new toy
Brian
P.S. mines only two berth as well so no problems there -- despite the rumours "Size is NOT everything "

Hello and welcome to our wonderful hobby and CT. Great advice above, not much to add. Don't forget to ask questions on here. Probably best to start a new thread if you can't find an existing one. Would suggest bio pods Spain one for a start. Ask for help if you need some from those around you on site or the wardens if you're on a club site, most people are happy to help, we were all new once. And yes you will do something silly, we abll have and can still! And you maybe the entertainment for those around you 😉 but fear not.
Best to fill up your water tank BEFORE you arrive at your pitch and level 😆
