We had no more deliveries to do yesterday evening after the Efes  delivery. So all deliveries finished by 17:30. So we were away on time at 18:00. It was just getting dark at the time we left. We got back to our caravan at 19:00.

This morning looks like fair weather to start the day. We've just had our breakfast. We need to leave here at 11 a.m. to get to Worthing in time for our 12 noon start. It's now over week since we moved to Alderstaed Heath site. How quickly the time seems to have gone!

Thursday, 16th March.  That's going to be a busy day because not only do we move on that day but my wife also has her next dental appointment with Guys Hospital at 14:45. So we'll need to leave Worthing soon after 12 noon for her appointment. We'll need to get pitched at Northbrook Farm before that time.

Just 12 days. It will be so much easier with Tesco Extra next door and only 4 miles commute to work and nothing more to pay as we have paid up for the whole season!

    Hi Malcolm,

Not sure if you have looked at your seasonal site for date of opening is Friday 17th March not Thursday 16th.

    Have a good season.

Lovely weather this morning,  took caravan back to storage this morning, hopefully it won't be too long before we use it again. Unless our new van arrives early of course undecided

New wall is almost half done, but rain has now stopped play.

The site opening date is 17th March but the Seasonal pitches open on 16th March, a day earlier than the site opening date.

We're parked by Broadwater Green and can't help noticing the difference today. All the flowers seem to have opened up, crocuses as well as daffodils bringing an array of colour to the borders.

There were showers and sunshine together a few minutes ago producing a magnificent rainbow. You could see a full clear arch from horizon to horizon. Now the rain has stopped and the sun is shining once again, a golden glow over the whole landscape. As you can probably guess, we have a gap in the orders. Lunchtime orders all done but evening orders not yet started. So a little time to relax before the evening onslaught! We finish between 20:00 and 21:00 tonight so still four hours to go before our one hour commute back to Alderstead Heath CMC site. The new logo!

Been a dry day with a chilly wind but very little sun. Dried washing outside 😆. Hubby mended another two fence panels and I've treated them plus another, both sides, they look good and have been reinserted.  One panel to repair but hadn't realised so not enough wood. Sadly I'm a shorty (I'm going go be tall when I grow up but that isn't going to be just yet 😉) so reinserting was interesting as I need a ladder to allow me to get the panels high enough to drop back into the concrete posts. 😂😂😂.

Done some mending and just having a look on here before starting dinner. Planning a quiet evening in.

My face is still very dry and scaly but definitely improving. I'll be really pleased once it's healed. I hope it leaves no lasting damage. It'll be a week tomorrow since it flared up.

We have to use a ladder too to get to clean the caravan roof.

We've just completed the Macdonalds delivery and are now parked in Marine Place next to Bedford Row to collect a KFC order. Two more hours to go before we finish work! It's getting dark too. The sea front is all lit up now! The sea looked a bit choppy earlier.

Can't imagine anyone managing to clean a caravan or motorhome roof without a ladder. Our motorhome has its own ladder 😆

    I hate going up ladders!

Just got another Macdonalds order so I'm parked on Chapel Road in the town centre awaiting collection.

Glad walls and fences are being repaired Helen and Bakers2. We have had a lovely day here. Dry and sunny. Dining room blitzed and de-cluttered followed by a trip to Sue Ryder this morning. Mr H had a couple of hours gardening while I tackled the ironing this afternoon.I would rather have been in the garden but needs must. I hope your face clears up soon Bakers2. Do you think E45 might help sooth your skin?

So you had sun milliehull 😢. I'm pleased our fences are sorted but would have preferred to have a go at removing our dead ceonothaus. We're out tomorrow and it's raining now so what we the forecast of wet for tomorrow it'll have to wait  My face is clearing up E45 may have helped but I'm using some calendula cream, very soothing, which I had to hand, but I'm very conscious of it being flaky and have to stop myself feeling it 😯.
