Not long now before the tournament starts. Can England continue their winning run with a win over France on 4th Feb? Who will be their likely challengers? The French have just suffered a serious blow with the loss of Wesley Fofana, out for all the matches due to a ruptured Achilles Tendon. Can Scotland upset the apple cart in the first game of the tournament by beating Ireland? Here's hoping that it's another great rugby occasion.

I'm looking forward to the Six Nations but, as far as an outright English triumph is concern, I'm not sure. They will need to build on the success already gained and I'll be much happier if they can get over the first hurdle albeit against a Fofana less French team. England, after all, will be without some of their valued players too.The Irish I reckon will come out fighting again with the usual passion and may well be the ones to watch.

Great start to the competition. I was right in suspecting that Scotland were capable of defeating the pre-tournament favourite Ireland. What a game.

Shame about the other game, but at least England won ugly.

Can Italy now surprise Wales tomorrow?

England is being tipped to win easily against Wales today.---  But I hope it's a much closer game with good running rugby.

It will be a bit of a David V Goliath struggle, which is usual when any of the Small Nations are playing England, but let's hope David ( Wales ) finds a way to succeed against Goliath.

I am also looking forward to great win for Ireland against Italy.

    Cheers ........................K.

Magnificent performance by the Irish who were rather mugged last week.

Looking forward to what should be an exciting Wales v England game - two fine teams in outstanding form at the moment. Should be a close one!

Well it wasn't a great game technically, too many careless mistakes, but still very exciting. Wales could and maybe should have won if they'd decided to kick for penalties when they had the chance. Still, another hard fought win for a below par England and I can't see them not winning the title now.

Technically a good game but, as moulesy says, not great. It was determination from both sides that showed through and made it such an enthralling spectical. Daly getting back to save the interception and then finishing off the final try were decisive moments for me!

I'm pleased to say that yesterday's two games went exactly to my prediction.

Today France will win over Scotland.

There is always a great atmosphere when France and Scotland meet on the Rugby field. . Both countries represent "The Auld Alliance" and this friendship means that whatever the score, the winners are applauded by both sets of supporters.

    Cheers........................Ksmile

Fantastic game played with bravery and passion. A very physical game and being Rugby there was plenty of shoving and bruising tackles. Great respect for the French pack and in particular their defence, they were phenominal.

Once again the game followed my prediction.

    Cheers.........K

Hopefully it will be wins for England, Ireland and Scotland, which should then make the games the following weekend really interesting.

Scotland  9 == 13  Wales  at  the  break

Why  do  I  get  the  feeling  that  Scotland  are  going  to  be  under  extreme  pressure  this  coming  40  mins.

Interesting tactics by Italy but England got there in the end.  Not a fan of bonus points though
