good day,one and all,

can anyone recommend a good fairly quiet site near to this town in france,

which is just south of ruffec in the Charente.regards  to you all.

    If you Google Camping Ruffec it will give you names of five sites nearby to choose from. Then look up them individually for descriptions and perhaps reviews.

    There is a British run campsite in Saint Angeau, if you want familiarity - Camping Devezeau or there is a municipal campsite in Ruffec itself.  To the north we have stayed at Les Peupliers at Couhe which is a bigger site,but was quiet when we were there visiting friends who live nearby.

    We recorded a series by James Martin following Keith Floyd through France and saw this town featured. It looks gorgeous, especially the brioche!
