Well that's southport off my list 31 March for 3 nights 2 adults £97.50.

    I rarely use club sites these days, preferring CLs but we tend to stop at one at the beginning of the season and one at the end,sometimes Southport, so I was a bit taken aback with your price quotation. 

    This is the first time I have checked prices for 2017 and you are 100% correct (wasn't doubting you, just couldn't believe it if that makes sense). They're including that weekend as the start of Easter, some 2 weeks away. Easter week price increases always used to start the week before. 

    These prices won't entice me back any time soon.

    I go to Southport every year for two weeks from mid December and leave before New Year's Eve. That price is ridiculous IMO

    Perhaps it worked then.  If the two of you refuse to go then it leaves a space for a family during the School holiday.

    Actually it is. With the Governments standard holiday the first two weeks in April are the Spring break.  No matter when Easter occurs.  So 31 March is when a lot of Schools break up.

    Easter is late, so as Boff says quite a few will be starting holidays early April and then due to a late Easter the next holidays occur quite soon afterwards.

    Yep it is within school hols which I did not initially realise. Hos are ant two weeks in the 3 week period starting 31st March I think

    Of course you could wait until Easter weekend you could join the rally on Victoria park 4 nights for £49.50

    Tried very hard to find details of this rally but was unable to do so 😐. Following a live chat I'm going to receive a hard copy of rallies but I'd quite like to check it out. It also occurs to me that if it's not online, and copy coming cos chat agent couldn't find rally details at all, same as me! It might not be included 😉

    The rally is a South Lancashire centre celebration rally 13-17 April on Victoria Park next to the club site. The contact details for the Secretary can be found on this site and if you search under centre events  details of the rally are on this site.

    Had the CC re-installed the search by location on the rally searches it would have been easy to find, unfortunately this is another fault with the new web site.

    On a plus note I think think the rally in the park is in a good spot and is a good price!

    The rally is a celebration rally celebrating 50 years of South Lancashire centre so entertainment is included.  Full details available on www.southlancscentre.co.uk.  details of the rally at same venue for Southport Airshow also available on same site.
