Good Afternoon everyone,

Let me introduce myself, My name is Thomas Ash and I am the new Travel Information Information Officer for Overseas Touring. I have stepped into this role following Hazel's departure from the Caravan Club and I'm here to answer any questions that you may have in relation to Overseas Touring, laws and regulations. 

Hazel has kindly passed on her knowledge to me about all things overseas. Big shoes to fill but I hope to provide you with as much assistance to your queries as possible.

    Hi Thomas,

    There's already a question floating around on here today for you. Will the closure of the Arlberg tunnel this summer be 24/24 or night time only? Could you please post an answer. Thanks.

    Welcome and good to see you taking an active part in the forum. We have missed Hazel's breadth of knowledge  since she left. Whilst there is a good level of member knowledge here there are some subjects that require more detailed information and the contacts the Club has with overseas organisation is indispensable so we will look forward to your contributions and advice.

    Hi Thomas,  Welcome!  We knew Hazel,  having  met her several times at the tour hosting and inspectors meetings.   I hope you enjoy the job as much as she did, and I wish you all the best in this very interesting role!

    Thank you for your kind words. Hazel certainly had a lot of knowledge which she has passed on to me there will be big shoes to fill. I am enjoying the role so far :) and hope to provide as much knowledge as possible on the type of queries that we get :)
