Help!

We have just been taken on with Canvas holidays from April this year and we are working at Lake Garda. We just thought we could take our caravan place it in storage for 6 months whilst working and then carry on down to Spain for a couple of months or so touring. Problem is we cant find any insurance company that will cover the period away and the caravan in storage whilst in Europe, has anyone ever come across this and found a solution. We are currently with the Caravan Club insurance, they wont cover the storage aspect?

    There are a few members that store 'vans on the continent....hopefully they will be along

    Sadly there is no PM so they can't be contacted directly!

    Whilst you're waiting for those who EJB refers to, hopefully they will respond smile, have you contacted an insurance broker?  They have knowledge on lots of different companies and might be able to suggest some.

    We store in France - and use Towergate to insure with.  Their policy costs seem reasonable, and we have claimed whilst using them with no problem whatsoever (which to me is the test of a good insurer!).

    Are you not going to be living in your caravan whilst working for Canvas Holidays?  Friends of ours work for another company and use their motorhome as lliving accommodation whilst they are working.
