Thanks Kjell, I'll have a look at that website and see if they do similar for our XC60. We have a home made foam filled waterproof covered cushion for our dog, so don't need a boot tray.

Wet, cold miserable day here but a sugar rush all round to cheer us up. On coffee duty at church this morning but as well as biscuits there was very sugary cake for the 70th birthday of a member of the congregation. Then we had a birthday tea for 2 of our grandchildren who celebrated their 7th birthdays this weekend. Glad I am not havingto put them to bed tonight.

We've had similar weather here in Cheshire. Spent the day, and a few bob, at Cheshire Oaks.
Where have you chosen for your first trip this year, H&T. We've still to decided where we'll go on our next one. Only 4 nights left on this trip before we head home.

Where are you going Helen? We have booked Seacroft for the beginning of June. We will hopefully get a couple of trips booked before that soon.

Wowzer!
We have ours set to 18 degrees from either 5:30am (3 days) or 6:30am (4 days) to suit when I get up, untill 9 or 10am. Then it comes on again at about 5pm untill 9pm.
If we are in the house all day and not doing much (unusual) then we might put the gas fire on, if it's very cold. Although mostly we just put another jumper on.
At night (and outside the above hours) we have it set to about 10 degrees, to make sure it doesn't come on.
While on holiday, we have it set to 8 degrees so that it only comes on in potential freezing conditions.

Absolutely proud of you ABM. O Come, All ye Faithful has to be one of my favourite Christmas Carols/hymns.
By the way, how do you manage to get your posts in paragraph style - you seen to get gaps every so often. It looks quite poetic!

I reckon ours is similar, so if we saved 30% on our gas bill, at todays prices that would be about £200. A new boiler would be around £1500-£2000 fitted as far as I can make out, so it would be about 8-10 years before we had saved the cost of the new boiler.
So as long as this one keeps going, it will be staying!

It rained all day so I just stayed in all day. No point in driving the car across a water-logged field and getting stuck in the mud!

Heavy rain here again this morning. I managed to get a few outside chores done in between the showers though. I filled the Aquaroll earlier this morning.
I think I'll probably stay in today. With so much rain, I don't think it's worth driving the car across the field to get out. No real need to do any shopping today. There's enough food supply in the fridge/freezer.

Dry with sunny periods today at the B/Yd.A couple of jobs crept up due to the high spring tides .
One job at home too,a rainwater downpipe came adrift in those gales,so fixed it today ."there's always summat" !!!.

Busy day getting everything back into the van after its trip to the dealers. OH was busy washing the van and both cars, quite a mild day at 10c in the shade and 15c in the sun
Washing machine been busy too as with the sun out its free leckie from the solar panels.
While sorting out clothes to go in the van I took the opportunity to clear a fair few things to charity bags, I must be feeling better its the most work I've done since before we went on the cruise.

Likewise brue, I've not slept so much for years, I'm usually a poor sleeper but for the last 3 weeks I've slept until 09.30 and even 10.00 one morning, OH has been the same, he's even fell asleep reading the paper.
Glad you're feeling better.

Glad to hear that folks are feeling better . And someone who's had a tooth out says little pain , hopefully that'll continue.
Yet another grey day here in Essex not as forecast, so washing had to be tumbled, as we had drizzle - that definitely wasn't on forecast.
Met an ex-colleague for lunch after having my haircut. Then shopped for elderly aunt who has been poorly but didn't let anyone know . Wouldn't call GP until someone visited on Friday and insisted sitting with her until GP called back. Prescribed without a visit . Same person spoke to her yesterday and called 111, told patient had to phone, she did. 6 hour wait for doctor, who came at 10pm and said hospital, she's very chesty and had pleurisy this time last year. Ambulance 3.30am - discharged 8am with antibiotics. Looks poorly but really if she'd seen a GP a week ago this could have been avoided. So depressed, so stubborn .
Rant over.
Hopefully the new year will have some good news before long, another elderly aunt has had massive stroke not expected to recover/survive - only a matter or time.
No trips in the motorhome even thought about

A trip to the tip this morning, to get rid of the old radiator and a load of cardboard.......and bottles.
Called at the local pet store on the way back for bird food and duck corn.
This afternoon, a trip to B&Q to check prices then to Wickes for some 8' x2' sheets of ply for the kitchen floor (good old XC90 - can fit anything in there!), prior to tiling. Wickes always seem to be cheaper for most things.

David D S B .
I use double space on words and normally use
'LineFeed' ( a k a 'enter' ) where I think the end of line
best fits But I have to admit its a habit I have from
filing my photographic slides !! Much to the disgust of one
of our friends on here,{ No Names -- No Packdrill } but
at least I've stopped using Bold, Italics & Underlining !

Thanks for your good wishes Tammygirl and DSB. Sadly aunt who has had stroke not expected to survive, but so far 4 days, not had a good quality of life for several years horrendous arthritis for 40 years, but very strong constitution. Other aunt is one who was poorly, for the same reasons, last year depressed and hasn't wanted to be here since her husband died six and a half years ago. Sad life for some. Sorry to depress you all.
Knitting going well thanks Tammygirl really enjoying it very easy pattern.
Very dark here this morning or maybe it's because I'm up earlier than of late 😂😂. 0 5c so frost about. Might head out for decent walk with the dog as it looks brighter, not be as grey and dull with drizzle as yesterday. Roll on spring great to see signs of it already 😃

Still finding this improved CT frustrating 😔. So brief postings when I'm on the right equipment but I do read from time to time.
Son and his girlfriend reach our daughter tomorrow on their nz travels. They've said rain following them but I'm not sure if they mean as they leave or bring it with them, I suspect the latter. Shame for them daughter won't like that 😂😂. They have a week together first time he'll meet his neices. Eldest is looking forward to seeing aunty Rob. It will stick as a family form of address...........

Nice to catch up with you B2, even though elderly relatives are in need of care and attention, a big struggle for many. Hope your son and girlfriend enjoy seeing the family and NZ.
OH off to the dentist today then I might grab the car from him to get to town. Dark, damp morning here.
