just sat through Top of the pops new year special, well, what a load of tuneless people , is it just me because I'm getting on a bit or has music lost its way

I think I've just wasted an hour of my Saturday eveningfrown

Watched one from the 1980's the other day and that was dire.

I actually think that there is some great music about at the moment........probably wouldn't feature on a popular music tv programme though.

There is still a lot of dross about though. I blame those 'talent' competitions.

6 Music is the way to go these days.

Preferred TOTP2 from some years back with Steve Wright and his helpful comments.

My favourite was from Bros performing "When will I be famous"

"A rhetorical question surely"  says Steve.

Might be my hearing these days but can't hear any music, just screeching audience members.

Must admit I was more of an OGWT man back in the day! Wasted many an hour watching this, even liked the title/opening music!

Can't see synchronised zimmer frames getting me hot and bothered like the group used to in the old days.
