Grockles to Polzeath - Route Advice Please
We have just booked a pitch on a quirky site in Polzeath for £23/night over the August Bank Holiday.
Not prepared to pay the 'trendy, cool, hip, surfer dude' price of c£66/night on the cliff top pop up site.
We will travel A303 / A30 via Blackdown Hills to M5 to Exeter, then A30 / A395 / B3314 to POlzeath.
So all you yokels, is that the best route given we are 42' long with car and caravan.

As a 'yokel', I don't appreciate your manner of posting so you'll have to find out for yourself.
Good luck with that one.

We live in Somerset but lived in Cornwall for many years and still travel that way often. Yes your proposed route should work well. We always avoid the A358 and go over the Blackdowns. Not only is it beailutiful but it is also quicker. The only negative is nowhere to stop. If you go A356/M5 then you can pause at Taunton Deane Services.
