Have you stayed at the Tenby Haven touring site? If so how did you find your stay?

I'm only interested in opinions on Tenby Haven please.

I have 7nights in may booked for £63 worth a punt I thought.

I've stayed at other Havens and found them excellent value at around £10 per night fully inc.

Haven sites will polarise opinion on CT.....some love it, some wouldnt...

we use haven quite a bit in the off season, find their sites modern, with good facs etc, BUT, the proviso is dont do it in school hols or other busy times....you will be surrounded by folk who only bring their vans out a few times a year and want to 'take full advantage'...

stick with the quiet, cheap times and you should be OK.

RE: Tenby....good site, great location for walking, golfing, cycling, eating, drinking etc....

again the proviso......Tenby site can get very crowded, sometimes even out of season, so be prepared for a few vans on site.

the wardens are great, very helpful.....enjoy.

    Thanks BB,

Yes exactly how we use Haven too.

A week in term times can often be had for around the price of 1night in School hols.

    Bargain imo

The Tenby site is big. The touring bit is not as modern as say Haven  Hafan y Mor. but still up to CC standards. Close enough to Tenby with good bus services.  .As all those of us who use Haven and other commercials. Pick off peak/Non school holidays. Take the superb bargains for what they are. Much less rules & regs as at Cc sites. The touring pitches are away from the statics and the leisure facilities so "no pressure to buy the extras" which justify the cheap prices, as some antis here  keep going on about.
