Booking ACSI sites
Hi All
Were traveling to France first two weeks in July some sites still accept ACSI cards.
Is it possible to book sites and ferry through the club still obtaining ACSI discount.
We are looking at Le Domaine d Oleron for a week then Le Domaine des Logis in Brittany
for the second week.
Planning Ferry from Portsmouth St Malo or Caen Advice please.
Thanks

St Malo is an overnight crossing only so is expensive. The cheaper of the two when booking with the club is to Caen but that is with camping cheques. Domaine de Logis used to take camping cheques but not sure about 2017. It is a very nice site though. You don't give your exact dates but you could use camping cheques perhaps for one week, this would get you a cheaper crossing. Also don't forget you could use camping cheques in the UK at a later date.

We always use the Portsmouth/Caen afternoon crossing and stay at Bella Riva Camping in Ouistreham which opens up for the evening ferry coming in and is an ACSI site. If you don't want to use the camping cheques there is always someone on here who will buy them.
You can message the sites of your choosing from the ACSI web page for the site to book so you don't have to do it via the club.

This is a very mixed up thread - with two separate threads. I answered in the one listing five replies - but it appeared in the wrong one. The only way I can actually 'find' this thread is by clicking on the last post information (which said 31.12.2016 at 08.32 by LongTimeCaravanner.
If you don't click the last post link then you will see the 'other' thread!
Here's what I answered in the other thread:
In answer to the question you can't book a site through the club and then use your ACSI card there. Either you book the site through the club and pay the club rate, or you book directly with the site through the ACSI website (if allowed - which was mentioned in one of the missing posts) and then use your ACSI Card.
