A fun weekend at Carfest South
Wow – what a weekend! My husband and I embarked on a fabulous couple of days at Carfest South, at Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire, and it was so much fun! Some of the highlights of the family festival below:
Bruno Senna driving his uncle's Honda NSX:
An impressive air show:
And an appearance from the Red Arrows:
Hot air balloons:
Tom Anable on his Monowheel:
Lots of family fun and things to keep the children entertained:
David Reynolds from DR Stunts was just one of the great shows taking place in the arena:
I popped in to see Honda as I heard the Honda BTCC civic tourer was on their stand and I had to have ago!
There were great bands performing including the Kaiser Chiefs:
And fireworks:
And of course it was all for a great cause, Children in Need.
Carfest South has an onsite campsite, which accepted caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents as well as tent camping. Staying right on site is handy for the festival but if you would prefer the luxury of a Club Site then there are a few in the area just a short drive away, including Morn Hill Caravan Club Site. There are many festivals and events across the UK where you can either stay on site or at a Club or CL Site nearby. It’s the perfect way to enjoy family fun, with something for everyone, no matter what generation.

Thank you!
I saw Chris Evans on stage - he seemed to be here there and everywhere supporting the event!

Well he did a great job - an incredible event and I would recommend to anyone. Lots raised for Children in Need too.

Thanks moulesy – you’re probably right, although it was the little green squiggly line that made me change it from ‘me and my husband’ and turned me into royalty!!
Goldie, the Saturday night line up was brilliant and included some great bands including Bellowhead, followed by Seasick Steve, then Toploader (although I missed some of their show as sneaked off to have a go on the Ferris wheel at night - was a spectacular view!!) and then Keiser Chiefs. All bands were brilliant.
