Just to let you know we have arrived safely. The journey was univentful after the worry of the previous days before. The weather at best as been intermittent, the only thing we've not seen is snow but we're not due to go home yet.

We are staying at the clubs Chester Fairoaks caravan site, which I must say is lovely, nice warm facilities and friendly staff. We walked down to the nearby pub last night, that's not for the fainthearted, 100 or so yards down an unlit narrow road, but we survived.

Weve spent the morning in Chester, what an amazing city, timber clad buildings everywhere, and a generous proportion of Roman Ruins thrown in for good luck. I was fascinated by the Rows shopping.

Must dash, tomorrow we're going to Port Sunlight. See you soon x

Hi Tinac, Glad to see you are having a good time. To upload photos they must be no bigger than 2MB so what I do is adjust the size on my camera before taking photos I know I will put in the stories, that way they just upload. That may have been your problem.
    Regards, Roy

Can I ask if you know whether there is any public transport available from near the campsite?

Re the photos, I have always found I have had to resize photos for use on here but they don't have to be tiny as the system, unlike elsewhere on the forum. will resize. I think its the size bytes rather than dimensions.

Hi, I was on my phone which was the reason I couldn't upload them, don't have adobe on it ;(

As for public transport, I believe you would have to walk down to the Macarthur Glen shopping area. Its not far, perhaps 15 mins.
