This weekend was our first outing in the van without our beloved border collie - Molly.  Unfortunately, we lost her a month ago, she was 15 years old.  We spent many moments this weekend reminissing about our holidays with her.  We started caravanning 10 years ago and remember our first ever outing in our first new van - a bailey ranger 520/4 2002.  When we arrived on site in Shrewsbury Molly wouldnt get in the van (she was 5 then so it wasnt a problem for her).  We ended up picking her up and putting her in ourselves.  Well from that moment on, she loved it just as we did and she came everywhere with us and we're on our 3rd van now.  Molly loved to sit outside the van watching the world go by, she was so good and you could tell how happy she was.  When we would get ready to go away in the van, she would get really excited and follow us around. We really missed her this weekend and it felt so strange.  Her blanket is still in the van.  It almost seems like its a new era for us.  We will always take her everywhere with us in our hearts.

I read this with tears in my eyes, our own dog is getting older & even though he is on tablets for his arthritus certain conditions prove more difficult for him. We only started caravanning in 2010 but he took to it straight away & loves his "van". I hope
in time you share your holidays with another grateful four legged friend as life is never the same without them !
