First Timers!!
My partner and I are both novices to "camping" We have just purchased an Eldiss motorhome and we are really excited at the prospect of seeing and enjoying our lovely country .Although we are a bit nervous about all we need to remember about what and what not to do we are really excited at the prospect of meeting new people .After reading reviews about different sites it seems as though the staff are all very helpful
.So next week we are off to Newquay for a trail run and to Learn. So if anybody could help with any tips , it would be very much appreciated

We have just been on our first caravan outing, we was nervous about about what to do but the in the end just do what you think is right for you and learn like us when things dont go quite right. But most of all enjoy it, we did and look forward to the next

Thanks for your comments. We too have just completed our first trip and enjoyed every minute of it. Sometimes it was quite challenging with 2 large dogs. But we did laugh a lot which is what holidays are made of. Looking forward to our next trip in a weeks

I have spent many years and many miles doing family holidays in a folding camper. My husband became ill with cancer so we bought a motor home to make it easier for him in february. Sadly he died in March so I am taking my left hand hand drive, 23 ft hymer
with my 10 year old son on holiday next week. I am nervous about reversing but looking forward to getting back into the outdoor life. Why does there seem to be so much to remeber about what button/battery/hook up does what? Ah well here goes .........0 -
HI. In my first year I smashed 3 wing mirrors. Devon and Cornwall is notorious for narrow roads I recommend planning your routes carefully. I am sure that you enjoyed your first trip and wish you many happy trips. Chris P
