    Now then Bug, there have been several comments on his striking hairstyle. Why did you pick on mine ?

    Community Guidelines ask us not to make disrespectful personal comments about others on the CT Forum. I removed yours as it was not in line with this Guidance.

    I didn't see the others you refer to, but if you would like to let me know where you saw them, I'd be happy to deal with them if they contravene the Guidelines.

    It works fine for me, try clearing your cache, Peter.

    TW, how does one clear one cache on an i-pad? I still can't log in on there and keep getting an error message when I try to access the CL pages.

    Settings, Safari, clear history and website data.

    Dave, I did that but to no avail. However now that I've moved off the CC portal and onto my MiFi all is well, so it must have been some sort of problem between my i-pad and the CC's free wifi.

    I would like to nominate Bugs for the role of Temporary Forum Manager. He has the experience of running multiple forums and would be ideal for the job.

    However, whilst I have indeed run a number of forums for many years, I'm afraid I totally lack experience in the area of dealing with regular and sometimes lengthy "outages" (touch wood!!) - so am not qualified for the role LOL!

    Maybe Rochelle will take over......she is, after all, well known for her thoughtful, in-depth replies to member's questions.

    Like the time she explained why some longer pitches had to be reserved for twin axle caravans at Rowntree by giving the considered explanation that a few of the pitches had been made wider.

    Replied to mine, perhaps some here didnt get the answes they wanted. I thought she stepped up to the challenge  very well and l dont know why she didnt or wasnt allowed to continue. 

    She replied to my first with the vieled threat to ban me, presumably she didn't want to deal with my further points.

    I could think of a view reasons ........ for not continueing

    Give the Girl  a chance folks. -- She is comparatively new to forum management and did a good job during the few weeks she took the reins the last time.

    I'm sure she will be a really good forum manager when she has time to settle into the job.
