Moving Threads
Why bother. Someone puts a post about Gas Bottles in Italy and it finishes up in Overseas Sites and Touring ? .. A thread about leveling blocks finishes up in Parts and Accessories .. It just doesn't make a lot of sense.

The thread was moved as it was not specifically about motorhomes. In the Overseas section it might get a better response which may be of use to people that might not visit the motorhome section.

I have to disagree, it makes perfect sense to me where they have ended up.
Someone asks about Gas Bottles in Italy - it will get more replies from those who look at the Overseas section. If it appears anywhere else who will know, unless they've been to Italy (those who are most likely to look at the Overseas section)
Levelling Blocks are obviously 'Parts and Accessories'! If I were to look for posts about similar items where else would I look?
Which section do you think each post should appear in?

If you want some help with leveling ramps why is it not with the MH section. I certainly would not go to Parts and Accessories looking for help. It's a bit like moving this thread. Know one will ever find it.
Oh well never mind I can see now why I don't like camp sites. To regimented.

You could always try a title like MotorHome Levelling Ramps, that then indicates that its a motorhome discussion
That's too obvious....My favourite at the moment is the one in 'Motorhomes' and the title is 'Motorhomes'....it can't get more obvious than that.
Haven't got a clue what the subject matter is though!!!!!!

It makes sense to me as well. Levelling ramps are an accessory whether used for MHs or Cvans and a question about gas bottles in Italy is relevant to overseas. There's not much point is asking the question elsewhere as the situation in Wales or England could be very different.
The Champs are helping keep the forum tidy - well done.

It makes any forum more manageble if comments and threads are posted in the appropriate sections.
What is strange is that this forum appears to need much more input and movement of threads by the Mods than any other forum I know. ---- Why
The Mods are acting correctly.-- The forum headings are easily understood -- What is it about the members of this particular forum, that some seem unable to find the correct section. ???.

Thanks for the comments. Do check through all the headings and descriptions for the best section for threads - it just helps to cut down the time we spend moving them. We will will do our best to try and get them moved to the most appropriate
section when necessary as soon as we spot them. Thank you for your support and understanding.David
