Hello from new and excited caravanners!
Hello! As a young lad our family had a caravan and spent many a happy weekend/week away! Roll on the years and now with children of our own we spent a fantastic weekend at Buxton CC site using a relatives van. Since then we have taken the plunge and are
getting a van of our own in spring 2017 so looking to getting out and about exploring various parts of the UK! Sure I'll be asking lots of questions! :-)

Thanks for the welcomes! I should maybe have added previously we put a deposit down on a van at the NEC last weekend!
What have you gone for Rob. We changed our van in June - as a result of the February show visit!!!

After lots of looking we decided on an Elddis Osprey (Avante) 586 as the layout suited our 2 young children. Looking forward to 2017 adventures! we better not go to NEC again as I have read (and have family) that have changed vans following the shows!!

Sounds great Rob. Some great times ahead for 2017. I know what you mean about going to the shows. After spending a small fortune at the NEC last February, I opted out of going this October.

Hi Rob.
Welcome to you and your family. A new van is a massive investment but I'm sure you all will have many years of enjoyment from it, I know we have.
