Hi all

Myself and OH just starting out int the world of caravaning -  bought our Eccles Topaz 6 weeks ago and looking forward to being part of the caravan (and motorhome) community.    Have been reading lots of the Discussions with interest.

    Thanks for all your kind words of welcome.   We are off to Devon (hopefully sunny Devon, but prepared for any weather!) next Monday for 10 days.  Really looking forward to it.  I agree with ABM that a Sense of Humour is essential.  On our first weekend trip
    away to try everything out, the water pump decided not to work (turned out to be electrical fault in the caravan, which was quickly fixed on our return home) - so the ability to adapt quickly to change in circumstances is also a useful skill!
