    Changing the subject CY did you find out why the literary juxtaposition thread was closed so quickly twice? I couldn't see any harm in it but that's something else I'm obviously not getting

    Back on topic: I remember when football matches had to start at 2.o'clock once the clocks had gone back because no ground had floodlights. I remember being at the first floodlit game at Leeds Road and also when two of the four floodlight pylons blew over
    one stormy night.

    Some cars had air vents in the front wings,to open and give you fresh air around the legs .Surprised.

    Which  a  bloke  could  open  with a  ( normally  Steel )  comb  unless  the  crafty  owner  had  swapped  the  catches  side for  side,  then  it  required  a  slightly more technical  steel comb  with  the teeth removed  !!  Ah  yes,  Technical  Engineering 
    at  HN3  was never  wasted  time  Embarassed

    My dad modified a 'Watsonian' sidecar to incorporate one. It was a bit nippy in it though.
