    One of football's true greats, Johan Cruyff has died of cancer at the age of 68. A member of the Dutch "total football" squad and one of the few players to have had a ball trick named after him. From an age before the greed and mega money of the present
    day game.

      Just heard the news, he was one of my sporting heroes, a fantastic footballer - RIP

      I had the privilege of actually seeing him play. Him and George Best were in a league of their own.

      A very sad day for football, and sport in general. So young as well.

      One of the greatest ever.I had the pleasure of seeing him play .What ever would he cost in his glory days !

      A  Truely  appalling  year  so  far,  Sports folk,  T V Persons,  Charity  Helpers ==  the  list  goes  on  &  on.  And  now,  one  of  the  very finest  of  the  Football  Family,  so  very,  very  sad
