Good  to  see  England  found  their  feet  quickly  in  India,  India  were  under  the  whip  with  only  four  wickets  remaining  when  the  day  expired  !!

A  good  handful  of  top  rate  performances  there  !

For  once  Brian  ain't  complaining  Innocent

A decent start to the tour, but could well have been so much better had they held all their catches. The young opening batsman, Haseeb Hameed, certainly has caused quite a stir. Hope that he can continue in the same vein.

Started  this  over  a  month  ago,  full  of  hopes  &  high  spirits.

Alas  I'd  need  to  be  full  of  alcoholic  spirits  to  follow  this

shambles  of  a  tour  any  longer !!  No  longer  followed  by  innocent,

much  more  likely  to  be  yell x 10  !

    What  an  appalling  Shambles  !!

There  are  times  when  I think  I  should  get  SKY  tv,  and  then  there  are  times  like  today  when  I  am  glad  I'm  a  miserable  old  Tight  Wad  !!

Trying  to  keep  cheerful  but  I  find  myself  warbling  to  that  song  from  Les  Mis  --  "Bring  Him  Home"  or  some  such  then  I  remember  a  few  of  the  strokes  after  our  innings  started,  and  I  keep  adapting  the  words  to  something  like  Keep  'em  there  we  don't  want  'em  here  !

Now  to  rub  it  in  the  BBC Showcase   for  no  charge  on  freeview  has  a  game  from  the  Aussie  "Big  Bash"  I  know  it's  a  Slog Fest,  but  these  blokes  seem  to  have  an  idea  or  three  about  what  they  are  doing  !!

Should England just give up international cricket tours  and admit that the traditional Cricketing countries are so much better, talented and more committed.

County cricket is England's forte. They are really good at that.

    Cheers.....................K

Sorry,  K,  but  I  must  disagree  with  you  there  --  We

have  not had  a  truly  English  team  since  Moses

was  a  lad !! wink  Now  if  we  stuck  to  Players  born,  or

at  least  who  received  their  cricket  training  in  the

United  Kingdom  they  might  have  a  more  highly

developed  sense  of  Pride  in  their  performance.

Right  now,  should  you  listen  in  to  one  of  the

"Team  Talks" I  think  you  will  discover  its  more  like

    the  "League  of  Nations".
