I see that, following the end of the financial support by the owner, Tinkoff are to be disbanded. Peter Sagan is going to join the Bora-Hansgrohe team, along with other Tinkoff team-mates Maciej Bodnar, Michael Kolar and Erik Baska, and his brother
Juraj. I just wonder if this team will be able to give him the kind of support that he recieved from Tinkoff to enable him to win the more stages in next year's major classics.

I am sure Sagan will do well, such a character.

A bit of a risk for him, given that they don't have a WorldTour license at the moment.

They must sell a lot of kitchens and bathrooms......he was rumoured to be asking for 6 million euros a year (he was reckoned to be getting 4 million at Tinkoff).

I guess that he wouldn't have joined them unless they were sure of getting the World Tour Licence. I think that a lot of smaller companies will be contributing to the team's pot so as to ensure that they can field a decent team throught the season.

I would think that having him on their team will certainly ease their path into World Tour status  Smile
