Why can't they just line up all the teams and just see who can kick the ball into the goal-net the most times?
That is the point of the game, isn't it? It would get it all over and done with a lot quicker that way.
Maybe they could get a few of the other footballers to just stand near to the goal-net all the time and see if they can bounce the ball off their heads into tbe goal-net? I believe that's what the potato-head one does anyway?

I watched Wales Ulster and England play one game. Thats what I promised myself.
Ive no interest in watching any more Euro 2016 until the very last game.
The tournament has been ompletely ruined by the dreadful behaviour of football gans of many nations.
If that's what football is all about. - Supporter violence without any punitive action taken by the International football association, then I wont waste any more of my time watching it.

Looking at the draw for the knockout stages England must be kicking themselves, the way how the top half the draw has worked out and the teams in it, i can see Wales getting to the final if they continue to play how they have done, bottom half of draw cant see England going much further than beating Iceland.

Well I know we sorted out the offside rule earlier on but have I missed some change in the kick off rule? I thought the ball had to travel forward by at least on circumference to be in play which is why two forwards stood at the centre spot. But now it seems
that one forward can hit a back pass almost to the penalty box and this is allowed? Or is that just OK for these "elite" players?0 -
Is there an advantage to kicking the ball backwards then?
I know that the English footballists do it most of the time, but I thought that the more 'winning' teams tended to kick it forward - preferably at the opposite goal net?
Or have I misunderstood?

Englands manager isn't, nor ever has been worth a quarter of that!!!.... Its about time that the FA took a leaf out of Rugby's book and employed a manager with vision and fresh ideas. Hodgson is stale and past his sell by date ...

Luck doesn't come into it K..... England were, from the beginning of this competition, riding on their bumped up egos, praised by both the press and an out of touch manager, well they have got their come uppance, been brought back down to earth and landed
on their expensive derriers. One can only hope that lessons can be learnt and acted on... They are the joke of the year0 -
I would love to see an English manager of England SELL, but unfortunately I dont think that many have the talent for the job. Thanks to the premier leagues' obsession with foreign managers, talented English managers are thin on the ground, and I wouldn't call Southgate, Neville or Pardew talented, what have they achieved in their footballing managerial roles? Sorry, but any of these would be a backward step in my opinion....

Its not skill thats needed,(that should be naturally there if you are the best in the country) but team spirit and doggedness.Wales & Iceland have it in plenty, but England dont. They can only play the way they are instructed, just like rbots and when the
s...t hits the fan dont know what to do.0
