Strictly -- Should be fair to all contestants

Good weekend for strictly. Ed Balls is really entertaining, for somebody who has never danced, he is improving every week. No chance of winning but good on him.
It was right that Daisy went out tonight, she has peaked.
Cheers ......K
Lots of good dancers left, Robert Rinder should be next to go.

Think overall Daisy was the best dancer. So really the better dancer went out.

Well, did Gangnam style do it for you?
Sorry Ed, no no no ! I've come to the conclusion he has no hip movement at all, in fact very little upper body movement altogether, just a pair of legs moving for all they are worth and arms waving trying to give the impression he is dancing ! Danny is finally
top of the leader board where he belongs though so I'm happy, what a dance that was ! Fab-u-lous !Alison

A bit under the weather this week, so watched more than my fair share of tele. Watched England beat Scotland at football England beat South Africa at rugby. England doing well in the cricket, Hamilton on pole fore todays GP, all good stuff,
but nothing gave more entertainment this week than Ed and Katya last night.Dancing perhaps not as good as the others, but by far the best fun to watch.
.....A-maz-ing darling, lol
without doubt the best effort on tv this weekend, the GP was like watching (wet) paint dry bu comparison....
previously Ed was poor, and the botched lift last week should have undone him.....however, we wouldn't have got to see this wonderful effort, slinging Katya round like a whirlygig....
O.M.G. perhaps, but for all the right reasons....rivetting stuff

Think Ed should have applied for " I'm a Celeb " !

On the contrary 63ellesbells, just my opinion based on the fact that the majority of dancers are very good and the worst will not be eliminated for a week or two yet, its not rocket science
As for using spoilers, never have and never will, I seem to remember you throwing these accusations about during the last series, you seem to be the expert on the spoilers....
Hhhhmmm....Me thinks you've remembered this the wrong way round BT, memory is a wonderful thing, if you can remember to remember it correctlyAgree, Not rocket science at all, as you've demonstrated for a few weeks nowI stand corrected 63e, Now that you jog my declining grey cells, it was my reply to a post from you that was not to dissimilar
to mine.Did you mention rocket science as well, all those months ago?........

Didn't watch the show this week, so can't pass any comment...

Think Ed should have applied for " I'm a Celeb " !
I think he would be equally entertaining on that show too HH.
Far more watchable as a dancer than he was as a politician (not too difficult to achieve) but it's getting silly now when the likes of Daisy disappear before him.
Partly my fault for not voting I guess

The Title "Strictly Come dancing" suggests that the competition is one of dancing skills, yet a clown wins the public vote each week and proper dancing contestants are sent home. How can that be?
Clearly this is not a dancing skills contest, it is one of general entertainment only. Ed Balls clowning is good entertainment and as his fame for entertaining gathers it is quite possible that once again the public desire to be entertained will overcome
the skills of better dancers.Just change the name of the programme!

The same could be said for "I'm a celebrity, get me out of here". It's not a programme that I watch but unless I'm mistaken, the object is to remain not escape.

The best for me were Louise & Kevin closely followed by Claudia & Aj, although Danny danced well he does tend to forget he has a partner imho, he loves himself, another Anton.
The judge's gave some funny marks today, you can tell who they favourI think the worst two dancers tonight were Ed & Greg, about time Ed went, but rather doubtful, In which case I think the two to dance off will be Greg & Ore. Ore didn't do much in his dance, Judge Rinder & Claudia danced well in my opinion....

Did you notice Danny was the only one given some proper dancing to do in the opening dance - says it all really. He was by far the best dancer tonight, combine that with his performance experience and he is streets ahead of the others, which I think is why
he has been marked down up to tonights dance, they really couldn't find anything to criticise and had to give him top marks. At the end of the day though, it is still a popularity contest and anyone could be in the dance off (or in the final for that matter
!) - hold onto your hats till tomorrow eveningAlison

Some good dancing last night.. Oti and Danny were very good. Louise Redknapp and Kevin were as usual very good.
With the exception of Ed Balls the rest were good.
Since its down to the public vote, who knows who will be in the danceoff.
Cheers ..........K

I've no idea who was the best tonight (although I do know who was worst, by at least a mile, eh Ed!).......but the prize for enthusiasm and sheer joy must go to Judge Rinder. Nice guy
Write your comments here...Sorry Ian, I cannot agree about Robert Rinder. I'm afraid I'm not in the least taken in by his " Goody Two-shoes Act" . ----- He is a really good dancer and should leave it at that.
Cheers..............K

I hope not, but it could well be the year the poorest dancer wins!
peedee
Agree with you there peedee, the early round sympathy vote now appears to have gathered momentum and become the sabotage vote, surely it can't go on much longer, everything crossed he goes tonight...

Thought Peter Kay's appearance was fantastic, great laugh and everyone seemed to enjoy it, especially Judge Rinder

Or the most entertaining wins? I only catch glimpses of the programme and the dances I watch always seem very good and then they are pulled apart by the judges, so what do I know. I don't think Ed makes any pretence that he is even a competent dancer but he does have a high entertainment value. Probably to ball room dancing as Tommy Cooper was to magic!!!
