We watch it mostly with the sound turned way down and only listen to the judges comments, can't be doing with the constant screaming, cheering and clapping. Must be the most rowdy show on TV.

I cannot believe that Daisy was in the dance offSurprised

Are the ratings down?....Think there has beeen a bit of a fiddle with the vote...... Thankfully, the best dancer went throughSmile

I suppose it is a reality show after all, so tweeking here and there is to be expected....Cool

Oh no......Ed Balls survives again......it will just reinforce his dillusions.

The public's choice but , just shows us that the public don't always get it right! Undecided

We always record each programme on the HD recorder and watch it later in the evening. That way we can zap through all the time wasting detritus and enjoy the dancing and judging.

Exactly, it must be the same people voting to keep Honey G in Xfactor

    Who???? What????

Strictly hasn't been a dancing contest for years now, has it? There must be a considerable number of folk every year who deliberately disrupt the intention of the programme by voting for the worst dancer just to keep them in the programme. It happens time
after time. The only solution would be to scrap the money making phone vote until maybe the final.

But I have to say, like so many other "reality" shows Strictly has run its course as far as I can see, just the same formula year after year. Time for something different now? (Obviously Mrs M is out shopping while I wrote this! Wink

Well I really enjoy Strctly, I like to see how the celebs get better each week. Obviously you will get the crowd puller that's game for a laugh and pulls the votes, but to my mind it is a dancing competition after all.

Lets face it the professionals are second to none , fantastic dancers its worth watching just to see them I think .....

BB,  I have similar problems. The DCOS is also a Somerset Girl and I find it impossible to get much sense out of her whilst Come Prancing is on.

I agree that they should get rid of the phone vote. They pay the 'experts' a load of money to express their view and that should be it.

It's quite obvious from their comments to the dance-off couples that they often don't think they should be there.

Leave the phone voting until the final (if they must have it at all), by which time only the good dancers will be left anyway.

My choice for the dance off this week are Greg & Anastacia, should be Ed & Anastacia but Joe public will think differently I fear. Either way, I think Anastasia will survive....Undecided

I reckon as soon as Ed is in the dance-off, he will be gone.  The judges will see to that.

The right person was eliminated in my view, albeit FIVE weeks late.

Can only hope that Joe Public starts to see sense and votes to get  the worst dancer eliminated......Cool

Laura was completely overshadowed by Giovanni tonight he might as well have stuck her in the middle and danced all around her. Yet the judges (apart from Craig) still love her - come on ! Also, I did like Kevin & Louise's A.Tango BUT it did NOT deserve a
higher mark than Danny's dance IMHO. Again, the judges love her but do not rate Danny on the same scale for some reason, very frustrating. I do wonder if they do it deliberately to stir the public into defending him?

Ed & Laura should be in the dance off this week IMO, but who knows how the public will vote. Absolutely loved the finale btw, C & AJ were magnificent - very unusual music for a paso but I loved it Laughing

I thought that it was another week of good dancing.

    Louise and Kevin.....Fantastic!!!

Worse two for me were Ed and Greg, but with joe public voting for favourites and not dancing ability, it wouldn't surprise me to see two very, very good dancers in the dance offSurprised

Could be Daisy and Laura, now thats a tough decisionInnocent

DSB, your pound looks very safe to me......Cool
