Dad's Army

Has anyone else seen the film yet? We thought it was quite funny in places and the cast try very hard. But the problem is that you're always comparing it (subconciously possibly) to the original shows. Maybe it was a mistake to try casting characters so
similar to Arthur Lowe and company? In that sense it lacked a bit of sparkle. But a very pleasant couple of hours entertainment nonetheless!
