Best OS maps for walks from Ty Newydd, Corwen
Hi everyone,
We are venturing away from our favoured patch of the Lake District, to explore Wales and have decided upon Ty Newydd as being a reasonable distance to drive for a first venture out towards Snowdonia. There appear to be three different OS Explorer maps for
Snowdonia itself; if I search for 'OS Map Corwen', another three maps are suggested by the OS website, and I don't want to invest in 6 maps for our first trip to Wales. Can anyone recommend the best map or two for this area? I don't want to have to drive
for miles to find a decent walk, but likewise, if there's nothing worth walking around the Corwen area, I don't want to waste money on a map of it. Any suggestions?
Many thanks in anticpation......

If you google, " walks in corwen area" it comes up with a good number of websites, also there is The Dee Valley Way between Corwen and Llangollen and the North Berwyn Way.
Enjoy your time around Corwen, I was there a few weeks ago reliving my childhood visits to Maerdy, a few miles along the A5.
