ah, you could be right....the article only astated that the payloads were 'estimated by Marquis' so i wasnt putting too much store by that.....

still, for anyone on a 'larger' license, a good van at the price...

miles better, it seems (quality wise) than the other recently announced newcomers to the A-class stage, Roller Team.

i wanted to check out the Pegaso, for build, but never made it..

a chap i met who had been said that i hadnt missed much...

i also went to the Lowdhams stand to check out the latest Knaus A-classes.....the Sun I, the Sky I and the Van I....

how many did they have there....? ZipSad

just got stuck into the latest What MH, the Hymer B-DL 588 got five stars, and the Mobilvetta K-Yacht MH80 (as i also mentioned earlier) was drooled over by the 'Bromleys' (writer/tester couple who normally go for something a lot smaller an more basic) awarded
    4.5 stars.....a real winner (apparently).

obviously, I haveWink a good eye, too.....

Body length 7.758 mm so too long for UK registered vehicles to tow I believe. Overall 9.136 mm so too big to take into driveway here Cry

Write your comments here...You need something bigger than a car to tow them so only for the travelling community and their battred Transits.

Would you care to expand on that comment... travelling community and "battRED" transits... I find such commentary very interesting and ...puzzling, to put it mildly.

    Thanks ... Kenzo

Caravans too large for cars need something bigfer and other than the odd one used as a static then travellers are really the only ones that use them in any number from what I have seen and old transits are there preferred choice.

Went up to Leigh a weeks or so ago. On one of the shopping areas (opposite one of the Harvester pubs, there were a number of very big vans and a lot of large vans towing and a couple of large pickups, Some really classy vans

Old transits? Battered vans? Round here mate, they are all travelling around in brand new 4x4s. They change them every 6 months! I wonder where they get the money from.............

Although we now have a motorhome we still like to look at the latest caravans but I wonder how many different ways are there to arrange a caravan? There has been progress in construction methods and weight reduction but it just seems an excuse to add more
extras in the hope that people will be attracted to the new model. We went down the route of bigger and bigger vans until we woke up and realised we were towing a monster all over Europe and choosing routes and sites that could accommodate it. If we ever go
back I think it will be to a simple Eriba!

I didn't see it either BB but it's not something I'd have looked for. I didn't spend any time in the MH or caravan halls. The vans I was looking for were tucked away in a fairly random location.

For a chap that was happy to comment about travellers in battRED transits, you obviously have a sensitive side.  Glad to see it Wink

They have. It is aimed at the Buccaneer but not as well designed but probably a bit better built.

On the basis the build quality of their £20k vans is worse than poor I won't be putting my hard earned anywhere near the new model!

Oneputt from Norfolk, not my experiience cocerning Lunar! What a statement without any explanation.. Put up or shut up!!. Come on that's not cricket! I also went to the show, and did see the wow factor in the 2017 Lunar Clubman, so have ordered one at the
show trading in our 2015 model. This will be our third Lunar Clubman all have been trouble free apart from a Dometic fridge. Concerning German caravans in general they are heavy, poorly equipped. We hated all the black surfaces in the Knaus Starclass there
were also some real design issues which still don't work for us! and as for the weight....I wish people would stop knocking British built caravans, they are regarded as amongst the best in the world, Highly sought after in New Zealand and a there is a growing
export market in both new and used UK built caravans... Just go on the Internet and you will see.

The quality of our Lunar is as good as the previous caravans we have owned. I think they are generally OK but like all the UK manufacturers they seem to get some very wrong. Frankly there is not a lot between them speaking as someone who has had caravans from six different manufacturers.
