Weights
Has anyone had experience of being pulled over and weighed on a journey ? If yes, was it the police ? how did they check ? and how long did it take ?
We tend to be very careful about loading, never been pulled over but curiosity has the better of me ?

Not me personally but it can happen. The Police, possibly in conjunction with other agencies, do roadside checks looking at various issues. You would be escorted to a weighbridge but I don't know how long it would take as it could depend on distance to
weighbridge or other factors.0 -

They all use axle weigh pads these days. One under each wheel of an axle gives a fairly accurate figure.
You can even buy a 'domestic' version for a reasonable price......can't remember the make but they advertised in the caravan press!
Reich do one for about £100. Just tell it how many wheels, then run over it with each and press total. Then the shock
