It's not £60 for just the rental each but still expensive when you add the gas.  I paid £23.50 for my last calorlite refill so you'd be better off with a refillable than two calorlites unless you can pick up an empty somewhere.  Or what about getting a single bigger propane?

Calorlite is group C  This is taken from Calor's website on this link

    Group A, B & D £39.99
    Group C £44.99
    Group E £59.99
    Group F £19.99
    Group G

    £29.99

Husky already has a cylinder so he's getting an additional one Undecided

Your example is the same though. £39.99 for the rental

BB I wasn't arguing with you about the cost. I was providing information about the rental which is higher for calorlite and the refill costs more too.

I do buy this stuff so can provide input on refill costs Wink

New to Caravaning after a 20 year absence.  I am about to change my two steel Calor 7kg Bottles for two Calor 6kg Light Bottles.  What is the availabilty of the Light Refills on sites around the UK, easy or not?  I dont want to run out of gas anywhere and
find only steel available.  I am also planning on spending November to February in France and Spain.  Any member(s) have insight on this please.

My question to members was not about swapping light for steel. Calor have said in a statement that they have instructed all there suppliers in the UK not to exchange light for steel anymore.  I'm not interested in the steel ones, I have two Light Bottles.
My Question is about Availabilty of the Light Bottles on the various CC sites around the UK. Are they readily available to exchange on the sites or not.  Some good if you run out and the site does not stock Light, you would probably then have
to run around a few miles to find a Light Refill stockist?  Any one have first hand knowledge of the availabilty of Light Bottles on CC sites?

To Beau again,as in my previous post I have had no trouble in exchanging calor life's cylinders whether on site or at my local calor dealer ,even when the recall was on.One exchange was at the CC national, and they had a truck full! Even if you do run out
at least with a second cylinder it surely won't be a panic.

    Hi Beau,
