Good Friday 25th....18th March, the Club have put up their price...Is this greed as this year I believe the schools have not gone on holiday on the 18th.
Yes it is Makes a mockery of the " Club " title.
The trouble is, les, that there are some on here who think it's too much of a club. They want special deals off peak in return for the sort of sky high prices charged at peak times by the likes of Haven & Sandy Balls.
The club may have got its dates wrong, but the actual pricing is pretty reasonable in peak times compared to the alternatives!
Well, 'this one' wants special deals off peak AND reasonable prices at other times......
....after all, the club can employ economies of scale not availiable to some otjer commercials yet has only a fraction of the staff costs by comparison.....one pair of wardens v cleaners, receptionists, gardeners etc

With regards to the Easter school holidays .... Yes this weekend sees the start of the two week Easter break here in our part of West Yorkshire, it straddles either side of the Bank Holiday weekend. So in reply to the OP I suppose this weekend could be seen
as Peak season.Schools are beginning to choose their own holidays so I suspect that Peak season periods may become longer in future. eg. As I said above my son's school has the next two weeks off, as does my niece's school in Manchester BUT her brother's school only a
couple of miles away (in the same council area) are having the Good Friday and Easter Monday off, back in school for 4 days then they take a full two weeks holiday.0 -
And our schools break up the day before Good Friday and are off for two weeks. Thankfully my children are now grown and I don't have to work around these - if anything I avoid them to let those with children go away. Not always possible though due to
hubby's work and fitting around him.0
