You could always tow a small car behind your motorhome, Huskydog. I've seen that lots of times on club sites.

Malc, if I wanted to tow a car I would have kept the caravanWink

If we see you on a site HD we will do as always and offer a lift if its bad weather ,rather than see you get soaked waiting for public transportWink

Why would he be doing that, he has a tourer that has its own motor.....so, after he's visited somewhere for the day, he'll be able to go onto the next spot without having to go back for his caravan which hes left somewhere 20 miles back.....Undecided

...I do not think he is of USA tourist mentality, its Tuesday it must be York, and never see anything as they have to move onWink

not sure what the USA has to do with not requiring a bus stop?

I think you will be pleasantly surprised by your new MH HD. Getting off Friday evening ( after shop is closed) and still arriving early enough on a site will be a lot easier, so you might get a lot more weekends away than you think! We keep our MH ready
to roll barring valuables, and travelling light means we are set up on site in 10 minutes! The other thing is your last day can be spent sight seeing once you have left site, so again, a bit like grabbing an extra day! Yours sounds a nice compact but comfy
choice as well, only a little larger than ours, and with a bit of research, parking is not a problem, or at least hasn't been for us so far! Main thing is, as with your caravanning, just enjoy what you choose to do!Happy

Write your comments here...Ah but will The Husky do that!.Or will he just park at a site and sit, like most MH we see,as he must use a bus or walk, because a Husky drawn Sledge is not practical on site, for certain a cycle is out....unless he has a trailer
    for his woofers.Undecided

TDA , that is our plan , to have it parked on our drive so that at a moments notice we can just turn the key and go ,wether it's for a day out or a weekend away , hoping to fit a  solar panel so we are more self sufficient and not always tied to an EHUCool

Why cant he just drive it into town (stately home, park, other attraction) as suggested by TDDA and others?

oddly, MHs are taxed vehicles that are allowed to park on the road.Undecided

its just a different type of touring which, im glad to say, HD seems to have embraced, despite those who seem hell bent on knocking his decision....Sad

Nice looking unit HD must admit i am contemplating coming over to the dark side on my next outfit change, mainly due to age and ease of setup now the joints arn't as flexible as they once wereLaughing. Use left and right arrows to navigate. Hope
    you have many happy trips.

p.s. i caravan with friends who have a motorhome and we still get along.lolSurprised. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

Write your comments here...A free bus pass might now come in useful!

...Not req if we see him getting wet waiting to use itWink

We have bus pass, but only valid in Scotland....how useles is that?

We are all still one nation, why should bus passes not be valid UK wide????

kjellNN We can only use ours in England.  They are not vaild in Scotland, Wales or N.Ireland. Still we have to be thankful for small mercies.

That's a nice time of the year, Huskydog. The countryside will be full of blossom and Spring colours. Enjoy!
